The Importance of TOP OF MIND
Hope everyone had a great
extended weekend. We are busy
here getting ready for a
momentous summer and fall for
2009. Fall you say? Yes. It is
actually time to start thinking
about your 2009 Fall and Winter
marketing programs. If you're in
retail, you're especially aware
of the importance of having your
media purchases budgeted along
with your season sales analysis
in place. So what are you going
to do. mass marketing with
radio, tv, or newspaper? Or how
about making sure your existing
clients are in the loop
regarding everything your
business is doing.
If you take care of your
existing clients like they are
gold, then they will
automatically bring their
friends. But you need to keep
your products and services on
top of your customers minds.
What does that mean? TOP OF MIND
means that as a business owner,
you MUST keep your customers
engaged at all times. not just
once or twice a year when you're
having a big event. TOP OF MIND
means keeping your customers
"in-the-loop" as regards to what
your business is doing in the
community, new products, new
staff members. price
adjustments, trends in service
or product, etc.
The danger in not doing so is
that your customer (an actual
buying client) has so many
choices when it come to spending
their hard earned dollar. Also,
peoples buying habits change.
Maybe they moved further
away and your location is not as
convenient as it once was. But
by continuing to build upon your
relationship with your
customers, they will be more
inclined to continue buying from
you - if you keep yourself and
your business TOP OF MIND. |
